Di penghujung tahun 2018-2019, Bupati Sumenep KH A. Busyro Karim memberi penghargaan kepada 18 sosok Berprestasi dan Inspiratif di berbagai kategori.
Pemberian penghargaan dalam momentum Sumenep Award 2018 ini, diserahkan secara bergilir oleh Kapolres, Dandim dan Ketua TP PKK Sumenep Nurfitriana Busyro bertempat di depan Masjid Agung Sumenep, Senin malam (31/12/2018).
Sumenep Award 2018 merupakan kegiatan dalam menjaring warga Sumenep yang berprestasi dan inspiratif dari 18 kategori. Kegiatan ini sudah berlangsung sejak 2017.
Kepala DPMD Sumenep, H Ach. Masuni merasa senang, melihat dedikasi warga Sumenep yang membawa harum nama Sumenep karena segudang prestasinya. Sehingga, atas prestasinya mampu memberi efek inspirasi kepada warga yang lain untuk ikut mengukir prestasi.
“Kegiatan Sumenep Award ini merupakan bentuk perhatian Pemerintahan Sumenep kepada warga yang berprestasi dan menginspirasi untuk orang lain,” jelas Masuni usai penyerahan award kepada 18 sosok yang berprestasi, Senin malam (31/12/2018).
Karena itu, Masuni berharap kegiatan Sumenep Award menjadi ajang kreasi dan inovasi warga Sumenep sehingga menebar inspirasi untuk warga yang lain. “Semoga tahun-tahun berikutnya, muncul sosok-sosok baru dalam berprestasi di dunia yang digelutinya,” harap Masuni.
