Guncangan gempa bumi berkekuatan 6,4 SR di Kabupaten Sumenep pada kamis (11/10/2018) sekira pukul 1:46 wib malam dini hari, imbas titik pusat lokasi gempa Timur laut Kabupaten Situbondo, kedalaman laut 10 Km, membuat panik warga Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur.
Namun, di Pulau Sapudi, akibat guncangan ada beberapa rumah ambruk, dan 2 orang meninggal, 9 luka – luka terkena reruntuhan rumah, khususnya di Desa Pancor dan Desa Prambanan,Kecamatan Gayam,
Guncangan Cukup besar di daerah pesisir dua desa tersebut, rumah ambruk menimpa pemilik bernama H Nadhar (55) warga Desa Prambanan, dan Nuril (7) cucu dari Nadhar. “Keduanya meninggal dunia terkena reruntuhan rumah,” kata Kasubag Humas Polres Sumenep, Ipda Agus Sunarto.
Polsek Gayam langsung melakukan evakuasi korban ke Puskesmas Gayam dan Nonggunong.
