SUMENEP, (TransMadura.com) -Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) asal Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur menjadi salah satu perwakilan dari Indonesia yang diberangkat ke Jepang.
Rafly Maulana Islami siswa SMP 4 Batuan itu diberangkatkan ke Jepang menjadi duta lingkungan hidup dalam program Organization for Industrial and Cultural Advancement (OISCA). Kegiatan itu dilaksankan pada 21 September hingga 1 Oktober 2018.
“Kami ucapkan selamat datang kembali di Sumenep untuk ananda Rafly Maulana Islami yang dinobatkan sebagai Duta Lingkungan pada acara OISCA Indonesia 2018 di Jepang,” kata Kepala Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Sumenep, A. Shadik.
Menurutnya sebagai duta lingkungan hidup ia mempersentasikan tentang lingkungan (penghijauan) di sekolah, mereka juga akan bertukar informasi soal kultur dan budaya yang ada di Indonesia terkhusus di daerah dimana mereka tinggal.
“Sehingga nanti tujuannya ya untuk mencetak generasi muda untuk cinta lingkungan,” terangnya.
Ia berharap, prestasi yang diraih oleh Rafly Maulana Islami itu nantinya bisa menjadi semangat tersendiri untuk siswa-siswi lainnya. Diharapkan pula, Rafly dapat menuliskan kesuksesannya tersebut diatas buku, melalui rumah literasi yang sedang digarap oleh Disdik Sumenep.
“Jadi saya harapkan, Rafly ini nanti bisa mengajak siswa-siswi lainnya untuk giat mencintai lingkungan, sehingga bisa mengelola lingkungan secara rindang dan asri,” tukasnya. (Red)
