TERNATE,(TransMadura.com) – Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), melalui Direktorat Kurikulum, Sarana, Kelembagaan dan Kesiswaan (KSKK) Dirjend Pendidikan Islam melaksanakan penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), atau nota kesepakatan kerjasama antara Kementerian Agama dengan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten/Kota, terkait pembangunan MAN Insan Cendekia di beberapa daerah di Indonesia, jumat (7/9/2018) kemarin.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Halmahera Barat (HALBAR) mendatangani nota kesepahaman dengan Kemenag RI, dari pihak Pemkab Halbar Bupati Danny Missi. Sedangkan dari pihak kementerian Agama RI di wakili oleh Kamarudin Amin Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Islam.
Acara di maksud, di hadiri oleh para bupati dan walikota se indonesia yang daerahnya punya MAN Insan Cendekia dan juga turut hadir seluruh kepala MAN Insan Cendekia se Indonesia, selain dari Halmahera Barat, Kota Pekalongan, Kota Kendari, Kabupaten Aceh Timur, Kota Palu, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, Kabupaten Sambas, Kabupateb Aceh Timur, kota Batam, kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI), Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, Kabupaten Paser, kabupaten Tanah Laut, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah, kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan.
Dalam sambutannya Dirjen Pendis mengatakan, tidak salah pemerintah daerah membantu Madrasah terlebih lagi regulasi membolehkan.
“Penandatangana MoU tersebut merupakan bentuk kerjasama kita dengan pemerintah dan juga wujud kesiapan pemerintah daerah mengemban amanah mulia dalam memajukan pendidikan Islam,” kata Dirjen Pendidikan Islam Kamaruddin Amin saat penandatanganan MoU di Bogor.
Menurutnya, Kementerian Agama sangat mengharapkan dan mengapresiasi peran serta pemerintah daerah karena meskipun Pendidikan Islam berada dibawah naungan Kemenag yang pengelolaannya secara vertikal, tetapi pendidikan Islam adalah tanggung jawab.
Direktur KSKK, A Umar juga menambahkan, “Dengan adanya sinergi bantuan dari pemerintah daerah dapat lebih mudah mewujudkan madrasah hebat dan bermartabat. Dikatakan Umar, penandatanganan MoU sebelumnya juga pernah dilakukan dengan beberapa daerah lainnya,” paparnya.
Untuk di ketahui Madrasa Alia Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendikia Halamahera Barat didirikan pada Juli 2017 lalu dan hingga kini sudah memiliki 83 siswa dari kelas X Mipa 43 siswa dan kelas XI 40 siswa yang berkedudukan di Desa dodinga kecamatan Jailolo selatan kabupaten Halmahera Barat ungkap Kepala Sekolah M. Zaimunir, S.Pd, M. Si ketika di konfirmasi. (Fry/Red)
