Sejumlah pasar tradisional di Kabupaten Sumenep, perlu penataan kembali. Pasalnya, banyak pasar sampai saat ini masih semrawut dan kumuh terkesan tidak terawat.

Dengan hal ini disebabkan tata kelola kurang maksimal/dilakukan.

Anggota Fraksi PPP DPRD Sumenep Juhari, mengatan, berdasarkan amatan, salah satu bukti pasar Lenteng dan Pasar Ganding.

Dua pasar tradisional itu tampak kumuh, sehingga mengganggu akses jalan dan memperlambat laju transportasi masyarakat yang berlalu lintas.

Sebab lanjut Juhari, sepanjang jalan raya banyaknya pedagang berjualan dibadan jalan. “Itu contoh kecil saja, banyak pasar tradisional lain yang perlu penataan kembali. Sehingga masyarakat merasa nyaman saat berbelanja,” katanya.

Padahal kata Juhari, pasar tradisional merupakan pusat perekonomian masyarakat. Sehingga pemerintah daerah perlu untuk segera mencarikan solusi. “Jika perlu di rolakasi, silahkan kami dukung. Ini demi kemajuan Sumenep juga,” ungkapnya.
