Bupati Sumenep, A. Busyro Karim meresmikan fasilitas Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS), di SMA Annuqayah, Jalan Bukit Lancaran, Desa Guluk-guluk, Kabupaten Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, Senin (5/3/2018).
Bupati Sumenep A Busyro Karim dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasi atas diresmikannya PLTS tersebut. Karena adanya PLTS di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah nantinya bisa mengoptimalkan tenaga listrik untuk kebutuhan para santri. Sehingga tidak ada lagi hambatan proses kegiatan belajar yang dikarenakan oleh listrik.
“Ini merupakan hal baik yang patut kita syukuri bersama. Adanya PLTS ini nantinya akan menunjang proses belajar para santri. Sehingga sangat membantu terhadap Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah,” katanya, Senin (5/3/2018).
Namun, Bupati juga berharap adanya kerjasama jangka panjang kepada pihak pelaksana dan pengelola PLTS tersebut, yakni IBEKA dan CSR Paiton Energy.
Karena Sumenep saat ini memang gencar-gencarnya melakukan penyeluruhan listrik hidup selama 24 jam. Bahkan, kemarin ini dilakukan peresmian Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD) di Kecamatan Gayam, Kepulaun Sapudi.
“Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep selalu mendukung apabila ada CSR ke Sumenep. Semoga tidak hanya tahun ini ada CSR ke Annuqayah,” harapnya.
Sementara Direktur IBEKA, Tri Mumpuni mengungkapkan bahwa PLTS tersebut merupakan sistem on-grid, yang pemakaiannya tersambung langsung dengan PLN.
“Selain memang tujuan kami untuk membantu kelistrikan di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah, sistem dari PLTS ini on-grid. Jadi langsung terhubung dengan PLN. Ada kalanya juga kita beramal ke PLN karena PLTS ini juga bisa dipakai,” terangnya.
Untuk diketahui, PLTS yang baru saja diresmikan di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah berkekuatan 30,72 KWP. Selain sebagai penyuplai listrik di seputaran Annuqayah, PLTS ini juga dijadikan tempat pembelajaran oleh peserta didik atau santri di pondok pesantren tersebut.
Menyikapi hal itu, Ketua Pengurus Annuqayah, K. Naqib Hasan menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya karena telah membantu meringankan beban listrik penunjang kebutuhan para santri.
K. Naqib yang juga sebagai pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Lubangsa Utara (Lubtara) itu mengatakan bahwa IBEKA sebagai penyelenggara, merupakan mitra Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah sejak 1979.
“Ini merupakan tindak lanjut kerjasama kami dengan IBEKA yang sudah berjalan lama. Dan kami mewakili pihak Annuqayah mengucapkan terima kasih tak terhingga kepada undangan, utamanya Bupati Sumenep dan pihak IBEKA dan Paiton Energy,” tukasnya.
