Seperti yang dilakukan Babinsa di Jajaran Kodim 0827 Sumenep termasuk diantaranya Babinsa Ramil 0827/18 Kagean Kopka Sudirman dalam melaksanakan pendampingan petani dalam penanaman padi di Desa Arjasa Laok, Kecamatan Arjasa.
Babinsa Koramil 0827/18 Kangean, Kopka Sudirman melaksanakan pendampingan petani dalam penyiapan lahan sawah dengan Mengairi sawah dengan bantuan Mesin pompa air (Konor) di Desa Arjasa Laok, Kecamatan Arjasa, Kabupaten Sumenep – Pulau Kangean.
Menurut Danramil 0827/18 Kangean, Letda A. Mukti Ali menyampaikan kami perintahkan Babinsa untuk aktif turun kesawah untuk melaksanakan pendampingan kepada petani. “Saat ini masih ada kelompok tani yang mulai membajak sawah dan ada lahan mereka yang sudah ditanami padi dan butuh didukung pengairan yang lancar, sebab beberapa wilayah di Desa Arjasa Laok yang memiliki lahan persawahan yang sistim pengairanya masih belum terjangkau irigasi sehingga petani harus menyapkan alat pompa air untuk Mengairi sawahnya sehinggga tanaman padinya bisa tumbuh dengan baik,” katanya.
Lanjut Danramil mengungkapkan untuk menggenjot produktifitas panen, lanjut dia, pihaknya sudah mengkoordinasikan. Dengan pihak UPT agar diupayakan percepatan masa persiapan tanam dengan mendukung prasarana pertanian dan perluasan lahan “Sehingga swasembada baras mampu dicapai dalam rangka menunjang program ketahanan pangan nasional, sebab tanam padi itu merupakan bagian dari pencanangan Gerakan Tanam Serentak Padi Sawah Partisipasif menuju Swasembada Pangan ,” Pungkasnya.
