Pukul 08.00 Wib, di halaman Mapolres setempat.
Hadir dalam kesempatan tersebut Bupati dan wakil Sumenep, Ketua PCNU, Ketua Muhammadiyah, Ketua MUI, sejumlah Tokoh Sumenep, serta tamu Undangan lainya, dan seluru atlit yang akan mengikuti perlombaan Porseni.
Sedangkan lomba yang dipertandingkan diantaranya, lomba Pidato, Baca puisi, Lari 5 Km, dan Catur.
AKBP H. Joseph Ananta Pinora, S.I.K. selaku kapolres sumenep menyampaikan, bahwa tujuan diadakannya acara ini untuk menindaklajuti perintah kapolri dengan bekerja sama dengan pondok pesantren yang ada di kabupaten sumenep. Kemudian untuk memupuk tali persaudaraan.
“Dengan olahraga metabolisme tubuh lebih lancar, berolah raga tidak hanya untuk kebugaran tubuh lebih dari itu, bisa melancarkan otak,” dengan tubuh yang sehat, pasti semangat belajar akan lebih bersemangat”, paparnya.
“Joseph” juga berpesan, agar jangan sampai mencoba mendekati apalagi sampai mencoba menggunakan narkoba.
“Jangan sekali kali mencoba memakai narkoba, karena sekali kita mencoba akan selalu ketergantungan,” jelasnya.
