Transmadura.com, Sumenep – Kegembiraan merayakan Hari jadi Kabupaten Sumenep ke 747 ditunjukkan oleh Dinas Kebudayaan Pariwisata Pemuda dan Olah Raga (Disbudparpora) Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur dengan semangat mempromosikan potensi wisata di ujung timur pulau garam ini.

Dengan tema yang diangkat “Nata kota bangun desa” ini menjadi semangat tersendiri untuk menjadikan Sumenep lebih sejahtera dan bermartabat.

“Hari jadi Kabupaten Sumenep tahun ini, akan menjadi promosi wisata tersendiri khususnya untuk 2017 mendatang,” kata Sufiyanto kepada transmadura.com.

Sufi Meyakini, peringatan hari jadi kali ini akan mampu mendongkrak pengunjung wisata ke kabupaten sumenep.

“Persiapan perayaan yang matang dan animu masyarakat lokal yang tinggi akan mampu menyedot para wisatawan baik lokal maupun manca negara untuk berkunjung,” tandasnya.

Jika kunjungan wisatahan terus meningkat, Sambung Sufi, maka tidak bisa dipungkiri jika hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan sektor bidang ekonomi masyarakat lokal.

“Efek kunjungan wisatawan akan mampu meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat, kemudian pendapatan PAD juga pasti meningkat,” harapnya, Kamis (27/10/2016).

Disinggung mengenai peningkatan wisata dari tahun sebelumnya, dirinya mengaku sudah banyak peningkatan.

“Data pengunjung asing di Sumenep mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Tahun lalu hanya mencapai 500 pengunjung, sementara ditahun ini sudah sampai 800 wisatawan asing,” bebernya.

Ditegaskan, dengan wisatawan berlama lama di Sumenep, mereka pasti akan menghabiskan uang banyak di sumenep.

“Sehingga pasti yang kecipratan adalah masyarakat Sumenep, seperti pada hotel, angkutan dan lain sebagainya,” pungkasnya. (Asm/Boy/Hy)
