Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), mulai membuka tahapan pendaftaran pelaksanaan pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati (Pilbup) Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, tahun 2020.
Tahapan masa pendaftaran dimulai pada tanggal 4 hingga 6 September 2020 mendatang. KPU Sumenep mengumumkan pendaftaran bakal calon pasangan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati (Cabup-Cawabup) yang akan diusung partai politik untuk pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati tahun 2020.
Sedangkan sesuai jadwal Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Sumenep, pendaftaran dibuka mulai tanggal 4 hingga 6 September, minggu depan.
Komisioner KPU Sumenep, Devisi SDM dan Paritisipasi Masyarakat Rafiqi, mengatakan, sesuai peraturan KPU (PKPU) tentang revisi tahapan pelaksanaan pilkada ditengah pandemi Covid-19 pendaftaran paslon di umumkan selama tujuh hari dimulai sejak 28 agustus hingga september nanti.
“Pendafataran dibuka tiga hari pada jam kerja di Kantor KPU kecuali dihari terakhir sampai pukul 24.00 Wib. Sedangkan penetapan Cabup-Cawabup dijadwalkan 23 September 2020 setelah dilakukan verifikasi persyaratan,” katanya, Senin (31/8/2020).
Sehingga, lanjut Rafiqi, persyaratan paslon Cabup – Cawabup yang diusung partai politik sesuai PKPU Nomor 3 tahun 2020 tentang tata kerja KPU minimal 20 persen dari total kursi atau 10 kursi di DPRD pada Pemilu 2019.
“Atau 25 persen dari akumulasi suara sah perolehan parpol yang mendapat kursi di Parlemen yaitu 170 ribu 585,” ungkapnya.
Sementara, perlu diketahu sesuai tahapan dan jadwal Pelaksanaan Pemilihan Kepala dan Wakil Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) serentak 2020 pemungutan dan penghitungan suara Pilbup Sumenep dijadwalkan 9 Desember 2020.
Saat ini, terdapat dua pasangan bakal calon Bupati dan Wakil yang menyatakan maju di Pilbup Sumenep, yaitu Achmad Fausi – Nyai Hj Dewi Khalifah, kemudian Fattah Jasin-KH Ali Fikri.
