Transmadura.com, Sumenep – Kerugian yang mendera Perusahaan Daerah (PD) Sumekar selama ini ternyata tidak berbanding lurus dengan aset yang dimiliki. Sebab, salah satu badan usaha milik daerah (BUMD) ini ternyata masih memiliki aset terpendam, berupa tanah seluas lima hektar.
Lahan tersebut berada di Pagerungan Besar Kecamatan/Kepulauan Sapeken. “Ya, memang ada aset lahan sebanyak lima hektar di kepulauan Sapeken, tepatnya di Pagerungan Besar. Hanya saja, kami mendalami status lahan yang sudah dimiliki itu. Masih kami teliti,” kata Direktur PD Sumekar Darwiez Maszar.
Dia mengungkapkan, pihaknya belum mengetahui apakah lahan itu tidak digarap alias dibuat mati, atau disewakan. “Kalau disewakan berarti catatanya harus ada di perusahaan. Sebab, kabarnya memang lahan itu disewakan. Namun, kami belum bisa memastikan, masih kami dalam berkas dan data perusahaan. Saya kan masih baru, tunggu saja,” ujarnya.
Mantan anggota DPRD Jatim ini mengungkapkan, pihaknya masih akan berupaya membuat perubahan ini sehat. Salah satunya dengan melakukan terobosan baru di bidang usaha lain, selain apotek. “Artinya perusahaan ini harus bangkit, meski sudah mengalami kerugian sejak 2011 lalu,” ungkapnya. (asm/hy)
